- India has emerged as the second biggest Producer and exporter of un-manufactured tobacco by exporting 260 million kg of the produce worth 928 million USD this year. This was stated by Tobacco Board Chairman G.Kamala Vardhana Rao at a symposium on ‘Indian Leaf and its success story’
- State Bank of Hyderabad has launched retail sale of Gold Coins on October 27, 2010
- The Reserve Bank of India had recently asked the state to take action against the coercive measures microfinance institutions take for recovering loans. The prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, had also urged the chief minister Mr K.Rosaiah, not to allow them to fleece the poor.
