- The United State and Russia will be the new members of the East Asia Summit (EAS).That decision taken by the leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) at their latest annual summit in Hanoi.
- India and Malaysia signed ‘The Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA)’ on October 27, 2010. It will be implemented from July 1, 2011.
- India signed ‘The Convention on Supplementary Compensation for Nuclear Damage (CSC)’ at the International Atomic Energy Agency Headquarters in Vienna (Austria Capital City). CSC provides a framework for channeling liability and providing speedy compensation in the event of a Nuclear Accident. Indian Ambassador, Dinakar Khullar signed the Convention.
- Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on his visit to Malaysia as a part of three nation tour shall focus on issues of Economic pact, Security and Stepped up two way investments.
