NATIONAL SYMBOLS OF DIFFERENT COUNTRIES
National symbol is an abstract symbol that associates itself closely with the spirit of that particular country.
Edelweiss, a small white flower that grows on Alps is one the national symbols of Austria. For people of Austria, this flower stands for courage and strength because the flower mostly grows on rocks of the Alps Mountain mostly during the toughest of snow seasons. Not all countries have national symbols. Some have more than one.
